I had one which wasn't doing well and they sent me a new one. When I called, they told me the roots should be white. Brown or black roots are bad. Your root closeups don't display so it's hard to tell if the ones esp. on the right side are white or brown. If you talk to them, make sure to ask them about the new feeding schedule they recommend. (Why don't they email us with these changes from the original booklet? How many aerogrowers *don't* know about this?) Anyways, they now suggest one tablet every week to prevent nutrient burn. Yes, there is an infestation of pythium / root rot on ur little strawberries... this is caused but too hot of a root zone & or wrong PH. Healthy roots do not have a slime on them and they are bone white. You will see many signs of foilage & fruiting problems as a result of root rot infestation... if you do not sanitize and treat this peoblem it will continue to infest the roots of the other plants aswell. I suggest that you use 10ml of hygrozyme per Gallon of feed water, this will help clear it up, organically. Good eye Tim!
